Bmw G20 330i top speed limit

Has anyone been able to successfully remove or raise the top speed limit in these cars? Are there any tuners out there capable of doing so. I hit 130mph and it was quite a dissatisfaction to be limited that low. Would expect 155mph atleast. TIA

You'll need a bench flash to do that until they figure out an OBD tune. I too was a bit disappointed that BMW would limit the top speed of a car strictly because of the tires it came with. How about use different all season tires?!

Mine came with continental contisportcontact ssr. 98Y rating (186mph)?

Interesting. I have the Pirelli Cinturato P7 RF - I'd venture to say you won the tire lottery as far as the A/S go. I was told though that BMW limits the top speed on all cars spec'd with the all season tires. If that is the case you'd think they would at least allow the dealer to remove it if you took it there and had performance tires put on. :

Does your decoded VIN show: S840 High Speed Synchronisation?

I'm pretty sure that means the limiter is increased to 155mph
