So, three weeks after returning my 20' i3 and collecting the iX3, i have some 2000km on the road with experience here in Norway.
I'm just on my iPhone, so i'll try to write more
Impressions later.
But for now, it's really a great car for our family, we're used to have one car, and for the past year, we've only had the i3, after the F25 broke down.
It's really efficient, and powerfull enough i'd say. It's very quiet, comfortable enough, haven't tweaked the M suspension thus far. But it feels like a BMW, only with a EV drivetrain.

BMW iX3

Here are another couple of pics of the BMW iX3 at Sytner in Sheffield. It's a demo vehicle. Mine is in Carbon Black and will get late September. This colour looks really good too. Alloys have be subjective topic but I really think these look really good. This is Premier Edition. Will be test driving next Saturday Afternoon.

So, after a month and 3000km on the clock, i have some experience with this car.
The first impressions is still valid, usually i have between 14 and 19Kwh of power consumption, the latter when the car is full (my family of 4) and i´m using the trailer hitch.
I never use anything but comfort mode, never uses efficient pro mode to make it run longer, in this mode the climate is not sufficient for our hot summer, and yes, i know i can alter these settings.
Having said that, i can alter climate and such parameteres in sport and efficient mode, but not comfort mode, strange!
But usually i leave it in comfort and just drive off.
I have not tried the key card, not enabled a phone as a key either.
And not played with all the settings, but I'm going to adjust the line warning signal, it irritates the hell out of me, and i love to cut corners.
I adjusted to the lowest setting, but still too much hassle, its coming off.
Other than that, i have driven on a few longer trips this summer, the Ix3 are doing a great job in all the tasks it have been given. Its great as a family car, its decent (only 750kg) as a trailer hitch, but my wagon can't carry more than this amount either way, so its all good for my need.

As for charging, i have a 7.2kw charger at home, for longer trips i have tried the basic 50Kw chargers and a 225Kw E.on charger. Both solutions works great and i have not encountered any issues.

As for other issues, well it is a fossil car that have been converted, so as for the temp gauge, its just not needed. the battery management is not ideal, its hard to have a good read of the battery, sure i can just take a look at the app "my BMW".
But it would be nice if BMW would make the instrument cluster less ICE and more BEV oriented in the future.
Other than that, the fossile side of this BEV, with the seats, the well know layout, is all good.
The Ix3 is a classic SUV, no crossover BS, and the Kw drain is in line with ID4, which is build as a BEV from the ground up, impressive.
So all in all, its a efficient BEV suv, which have all the classic good BMW qualities, but it have been a very successful transformation to a full BEV.
Well done BMW, and I'm coming from two previous i3, so this is my third full BEV, and I'm not looking to buy anything else than BEV in the future, it is that good.
