Stopped taking the Imodium!
'New' new Goodyear Eagle F1 replacement tyres fitted on Saturday. (Made in China).
(GSD3 non-assymetrical, the same as the fronts). The handling now is as I'd expected, and become used to, with the original F1's all round. (OEM Continental runflat replacements). The tyres made in Thailand gave me serious problems. Having contacted Goodyear Uk, I was told they should not be distributed in the the Uk. Anyone aware of other people using 'Eagle F1, Made in Thailand' tyres, should make them aware that they are not for Eurpean use. From my recent experience, they make the vehicle handling dangerous. Don't know if the issue is valid with Eagle F1 GSD3 Assymetrics, but if you have these tyres, and they are made in Thailand, (and are constantly crashing into things) , it might be worthwhile giving Goodyear a call..... Excellent news that you got it all sorted in the end Mr. Banana!
Did not sound right - they are normally such good tyres. Wonder how they got in the UK, there must be a container load of 'em out there somewhere! |

I would suspect Grey market trading with someone making a nice tidy profit. Manufacturer would want them back to track batch if possible to try to find who is trading into incorrect market.
