How to upgrade to multiple color ambient lighting?
My car came with the ambient lighting, but its just two dim colors. I've seen people upgrade with an idrive compatible multi-color ambient lighting... how can I do this? Is it only possible to do on cars that did NOT come with the ambient lighting?
Thanks |

What car and year of built exactly?
Only the new G-series are capable of multicolor ambient light, if you had ordered this separately. All "classic" bimmers are stock equipped with 2 light colors, amber and white, thats it. You could change the SMD LED's on your own, but it remains at 2 possible colors. All other mods with LED chains or other multicolor stuff isnt OEM.

Guy invented it and it is a very very slick concept. If you Google you will find it on this very board.
