This is by far my favorite Merc (yes, even moreso than the SLR, which used to be one of my favorite designs). It's so over the top that it just automatically wins. Those fenders are absolutely amazing. I just wish the C-pillars looked a little more integrated, maybe even stretched back further, forming a more fast-back style profile. Oh well, I'm not complaining.

I read the article on Edmunds, and they said the car weighed in at 4300lbs!!! That's terrible for a performance car, but they said it somehow defied the laws of physics (like so many cars these days) and it's just as fun to drive as it is scary.

Oh, and those are probably the last wheels I'd pick for a car like this...I'd much rather see some mesh-style wheels like the BBS wheels used in LeMans series cars...or some aggressive five-spokers like the ones on the facelifted SL65 AMG.

Cool

I'm going to go against the grain here and say that car looks kind of ugly, and over the top.

It has a lot of 'Stang in it. I wonder if Ford helped design it.

I saw this thing on the road yesterday!! I was driving in Daly City at about 9am and I saw this exact car. Now that I think about it, it must have been the car used for these pics. It really does look ridiculous in person.
