F36 M Sport Side Skirts (After market or OE?)
I'm looking for suggestions and what experience folks have with OE and After Market M Sport side skirts for the F36 or any F3x in general.
I've found a set of OE side skirts but they'll run me over $600 unpainted, but I've also seen some kits that I assume are knock offs they are made of Polypropylene. Does anyone have experience installing these? It's been a long time since I've bought body kit parts and back when I did the knock offs were a ton more work to make fit right, and I'm wondering that's the case here or if they have gotten good enough that you really don't even notice the difference? I'm looking to upgrade my entire car's kit to the M Sport look in the long run. For reference the kit I'm looking at is from BestRacingMotors on ebay. I'd like to hear from anyone who has experience with these or other After market M Styled side skirts.

Mine came off a 335 that was in an accident. There are some deep gouges on the underside but they can't be seen. Even without extensions on. I recommend searching "bmw f36 side skirt" on eBay and filtering on used. Make sure you check out each seller. A lot of junkyards have store fronts on eBay. eBay is not all scammers. You have to really read the descriptions and check out the seller. |

That's kind of cool to hear. I bought some aftermarket parts for a few cars back years ago and the fitments were mostly crap. especially the stuff you could find on ebay.

I bought these. They fit perfectly and have lasted just fine. I could not recommend them more for the price. They fit fairly well and I would never consider paying 600 vs the 99 I paid. I used self tapping screws from home depot
