upgrade LED Number Plate Lights

I have got BMW E90 2011. I want to upgrade the LED Number Plate Lights on my vehicle. I googled and found an online store offering outstanding LED Number Plate Lights at a very good price. Matheew, the only thing I can say is why, oh why, make trouble for yourself, for little to no gain.

If a major manufacturer has a plug and play replacement go with it, otherwise wait. Just wait.

You know the LCI (09+) E90s had LED plate lights from factory right?

My 2008 e90 had the LED license plate lights. Why does it matter how bright the license plate light is? If it is legal which of course the factory lamp is then that should be fine. I can understand the appeal of an LED but having 3x the brightness isn't necessary.

Note that if your e90 didn't have LEDs then you might have to disable the bulb check if you install the factory LED units which would require coding to remove it.... This is also the case if you change the bulbs to a combined camera/LED unit.

I changed my e90 to have a camera/LED for backup and DVR cameras in place of the originals. I then and installed the original LED units from my 2008 e90 into my 2007 e70 in place of the e80's bulb unit which then threw a code. I had to do some coding to remove the error on my e70 x5.

If my E92 LCI plates LEDs are the same as yours I don't understand why you need or want something brighter.
