Rough Idle

I have a 2011 n55 powered E92 335I an I believe that the bad idle that I have been getting is due to a bad MAF sensor. I have cleaned it and it got slightly better for some time but it keeps coming back. so i do have the part on order. my question is that if the new MAF sensor only fixes a bit is there a chance that it could be the Vanos solinoids. My car has 93K miles on it btw

I had the same issue. cleaned maf and vanos, new filter, spark plugs double, coils. double check everything is tight and you don't have loose screws around the air filter box. I also did an adoption reset and mine smooth as butter now

Ok Thanks, ill definitely try that. MAF is brand new and I do have an aftermarket intake but the rough idle isn't related to that to my knowledge. any advice on how to safely clean the vanos?
