Shipping pathway(s)

Given that build is happening in Central Mexico, does anyone know the shipping path that is taken to bring vehicles into the US? Are the vehicles trucked to Texas first? Are cars sent to east vs. west coast ports in Mexico, depending on final destination?

Not sure about the east coast, but for west coast, they are shipped (via boat) to Oxnard, CA

East Coast are being loaded in Tampico (port is called Altamira), and go by ship to Brunswick, GA.

yes, For Southeast Coast comes into Georgia port. My Sales Rep in S. Carolina confirmed this yesterday

I think the boat then works its way up the coast, stopping in SC before getting to NJ - which is my port of 'departure' to the dealer in CT.

I'm in Michigan and my car is coming into the port in GA. It was loaded onto the Glovis Spirit today I was told. My dealer said this is a first for them as most of their cars come into Baltimore.

Not sure about stops along the way but my dealer told me today it will hit the jersey city port (mod November) and then come to them in north jersey

I was just told mine is going to GA instead of MA is due to trucking capacity. There is much more capacity in Spartansburg, so my car will go from port to Spartansburg and then up to my dealer.

Depends where the car is going (East vs West).

Looks like the cars my my region are leaving Mexico via the Veracruz port and arriving at Port Brunswick, GA. I imagine they're then being transported (by truck) to Baltimore VDC and then finally off to their dealers.

My car was dropped off in Baltimore for a Minnesota final destination.
