Bass is predominantly from the speakers under the seats. Burbles are typically are more bassy, so I'd expect a larger proportion to come from under the seats. If you have speaker system at home with a separate subwoofer, I'd imagine having that under the driver and passenger seats.

I absolutely love it turned off

And now my wife no longer complains when I'm sport driving
