No side M badge on US spec'd M240i?
One thing I noticed from watching videos of US spec'd vs European or Canadian spec'd cars. Any way to get those added? After market options maybe?

Hmmmm, I kind of want to add these to mine as well, assuming the car ever comes in.

Suggest asking store to ask BMW about deleting 3DZ from vehicle order.

I just called my SA to see if he can delete 3DZ. I'll report back shortly whether successful or not.

I'm actually glad the US doesn't get them to be honest. They look pretty tacky but thats just my opinion of course. What I think the US needs are the M Sport Seats because its actually something you're going to use plus it makes a biggg difference looks wise.

If/when I get my car - those badges will be the first ones to get removed. They are a pain when waxing/cleaning the car. Besides - there's already an M badge on the caliper, just a few inches away.

Production complexity. Now in the case of a badge it may be minor, but automakers generally do not like doing something to a car that is completely unique to a market, lest they accidentally ship some cars over to the market that don’t meet more serious safety and certification requirements or consumer expectations.
