So extremely frustrated not being able to find a BMW representative with any useful information regarding why my vehicle is stuck in Quality Check! It is entering the 7th week now in Quality Check....7 WEEKS!

I feel for ya, and i know this won't help but mine spent like about 2 days in quality check.

Same. Since 11/12, and no end in sight.

EDIT: they're telling me it's a missing part(s), but they can't tell me what part, how many parts, or when it/they would arrive.

At this point, I'm essentially being told that there is no point in calling in, because there is nothing they can tell me anyway.

That is some vague information from BMW. So basically we are at the mercy of waiting when, if ever, these parts come in.

The parts will arrive at some point. Whether we lose our patience before then, and find an alternative, is another question.

Mine exited Quality check before Christmas within 2 business days.. but now in Final Assembly step since then. I just called BMW Genius, they told me the car was completed Dec 20 and is waiting transport. But this being Christmas to NY's week don't expect any updates until early January. and PS.. BMW Factories are closed this week

I also asked if any features or options missing on my Vehicle and he stated no other than the known passenger lumbar. Sure hope he is correct

There was another post on here that stated the plant was closed for 3 weeks for Christmas shutdown. If that's true that would partially explain the number of delays.
