After resetting the iDrive more than 48 hours ago I still have few missing apps. It took a day for news and weather app to load and only today the drive recorder appeared. What is your list of apps and what is usually the best way to fix that glitch?

I have managed to restore I believe almost all of them. What I did was rebooting the iDrive and then updating the apps and waiting few minutes before doing that again. I have now 19 apps showing.

Is “safety camera info” a regional app ? I do not have it here in Netherlands. What about the RING GO ? What is that ?

RingGo is an app that allows you to pay for parking in various locations in the UK (maybe other countries but I don’t know).

Ringo is a UK thing, for parking, pops up on the goodbye screen when you stop and are in a zone you can pay for parking. Saves popping to the street machine and putting a ticket in the windscreen.

Safety camera is a paid service (20gbp)and warns of fixed speeding cameras on the HUD and dash as you approach them (worth the money for peice of mind IMPO)

Thanks for the reply. In The Netherlands we have the equivalent “PARK MOBILE”. I do not have the “SAFETY CAMERa” option….

Except here in Plymouth it normally gives a list of zones other than the one I'm parked it, so I still have to use the RingGo app on my phone!

BMW Safety Camera Information is as far as I know only available in UK & US. It's not even available in Germany itself. I believe it had to do with EU traffic regulations.

As for the Netherlands, we'll have to stick to our good old 'Flitsmeister'.

So I bought it but it isn't in my apps on the car . I have seen other users have a speed camera app on the app screen 🤨
