What is the best home charger for the New iX3 I am getting this month. I live in the UK. Any help would be great.

How long is a piece of string? It depends very much what you want from it.

I have a Wallbox. It is small and the app works well. It is also one of the few that are compatible with the newer smart tariffs on offer by some suppliers. Cost around £650 installed after the grant.

The Zappi is better for those with solar panels. But from what I have been told, not worth the extra cost if you just want a charger.

If you want one that looks good on the wall of your £5M house, then the Andersen A2 is the one for you. But it’s about twice the price of the Wallbox!

Whatever you choose if you want the olev grant then I’m afraid you will have to ring around as most installers will be fully booked to the end of the grant now.

When I booked and paid with Wallbox (admittedly a couple of months ago), they called me within 24 hours, and immediately appointed an installer. Their website still says that they can install within 10 days.
