I've unlocked but never used it to be fair, never used it in any bmw, just use android auto and carstream

What unlock, just use either carly or bimmercode, it walks you through it, have to hold down on the iDrive Puck when it reboots.

As for AA, use Aaad and install carstream

Do changes made in bc apply to all profiles?

If I change something like remember last drive mode or ACC off. Is that for all profiles?

All profiles, there are key specific settings, but they note that in the option
