ACS Type IV Rims? Thoughts?
Have been thinking of changing the rims again and have taken quite a fancy to the 19" ACS Type IV Bicolour:
£3390 from ACS.... (with Continental Sport Contact 3) - good tyres? Last edited by alpini; 08-21-2009 at 07:10 PM.. |

Some ACS on Ebay although not the same model, would save you a few quid!

I think the ACS wheels are very car sensitive.
I stuck some ACS Type3's on the 130 for this years 'Ring trip... I thought the old design wouldn't look right, I (IMO) they REALLY suited the car... Agree you'd need to upgrade your brakes, as the thin spokes will make the 120i brakes look tiny. |

I agree with Biscuits, a mates got a set of 20's fitted on his e60 and I think they really set the car off.
Not sure if I like them on the e9x series though... J. |

hmm never seen any in the flesh, but i do like the look of them from the photo!!
with regard to the Conti Sport Contact3s ... i run these and have been very pleased with them, very good in the wet too i noticed as well as the dry, some of the more expensive brands are spot on in the dry but falter in the wet. The contis are a excellent all rounder in my opinon, they wear well too
