are you serious about 26k? Might give them a ring tomorrow. Get them to take the cost of the ferry off the final price!!

With the VAT drop on Monday the new price drops by £900. That means this price is a 28% drop on the new price in only six months.

Since people allegedly are not buying large engine cars anymore, this should prove difficult to sell. Try Steve's suggestion but I wouldn't expect them to sell at £26k. Go in on Thursday - catch them at the end of the month.

Even at £27k I would think it's a bit of a bargain!

These cars are depreciating >50% in year one. Why should you take the hit? Bid low, no negotiation, or you'll walk. There's plenty more out there...

Would it not be that price cause its a 335i and auto....... Most people want a manual in the 335i model do they not......!!

The ass really falls out of Petrol BMW's this weather....... It will fall still buying it at £29k in my eyes.....

Wait till the new year and it will be cheaper again......

As above, I think the 335i should be in manual, if you want an auto then take the 335d.

In addtion, I think whites current come-back will fall away in the not too distant.

Either way, these are much cheaper, and still have good spec/same age and miles.

It is a buyers market, so make some silly offers and leave them your number.

also consider an 07 car for 8-10k less - it is where the 08 cars will be soon enough!

I rekon you could get this for £20k.

The first two links are 330i not 335i so not comparing like with like. Given the list price difference they are the same price savings.

I would say BMWs with top end engines would be more desirable to the masses in AUTO form rather than manual. Alpinin explicitly wants a white one too and I don't think there are many around.

Hope you can get a good deal on it mate.

my mistake, sorry. Yup, 29.9 seems to be the going rate - but expect to lose 10k in 12 months.

One other thing. I'd be waiting for the new idrive/hdd/bigger screen nav to become available myself too.

That would be a tempter. I know you can say wait and then wait and on and on but I don't think there will be any more changes.

Instead of an auto, hope for one with DCT as well?

Wow, that one on AutoTrader posted by 'edowen' is seriously cheap. Just sent the link to my mate who's selling his 335i - don't think I'll be his most popular person today!!!

It is about right to be honest. If they have 08 cars on the forecourt for 29.9.

They'll forecourt that for 27-28. By the time they have prepped it etc, to be honest I dont see a lot of margin in that at all.
