Gesture control switch off?

A couple of quick questions regarding IX3 M-Sport Pro:
I have seen a number you tube reviews where the gesture control has been activated accidentally, can anyone confirm if it is possible to switch this feature off?
Also, does the IX3 have a heat pump? I can't seem to find a definitive answer within the specs online and it is not itemised in my order sheet.

Heat pump is standard for the iX3. Gesture control can be turned off…

I would be interested to know if anyone has found a decent use of gesture control?, i just use by accident

V to mute is used regularly, and the wife enjoys the volume control and the skip my music as she doesn't like it next jesture 😂

I use volume control and skip song daily - need to test setting up the mute!

My daughter thinks its great, loves turning the music up with a twirl of a finger.

I had to turn it off though, i tend to 'talk with my hands' a lot and it kept thinking i was gesturing an instruction!

I enjoy using it while listening music, the skip track gesture is very handy

Very useful for impressing your mates who don't have such a system. But that's the only use I have found.
