Passenger Auto Seat Heating - not working
Either I'm going mad (a possibility!) or there is no option to turn on the passenger seat heating at a set temperature, or my car is faulty. Delving into the menus the automatic seat heating is set to come on at 10 degrees or below. This is working perfectly for the drivers seat, but the passenger seat heating is not coming on automatically. Which is annoying the wife somewhat!
In my 5 series there were options for both seats and different temps for both. However in the iX3 there is one setting that just says seat heating. Is your passenger auto seat heating working? Thanks in advance |

and btw, if you ever lose it (meaning that it doesn't work automatically as it should), check whether the climate control rules has not disappeared from the apps. This happened to me and a few other people. From time to time Apps go for a walk...for me was the climate and the windows one. Sometimes it is the weather or the news.
Normally an App forced update, a few hours and a bit of luck and they are back. PS: note that the seat heating still works, just that you have to do it manually |

You can set a memory function for it (24 hours) so that it comes back on if you park up and come back within that time, not automatic, but better, need an odb2 and bimmercode for it though, although can fix some of the other quirks, like the boot (down to open up to close? What's that about?) and one touch press for complete boot close etc.
