M240i Floor mat and trunk mat

Hi all. Just curious and wanted to ask those who have taken delivery. I don't see the mats on my build sheet. Are those standard for the car or do I have to buy after market. If so any recs for mats? Lol thanks!

I'm fairly certain it comes with standard carpeted floor mats. I don't think it comes with a trunk liner. I just bought all weather from and rear mats and I def. Recall seeing a trunk liner on the bmw accessories website.

Carpet, yeah. I mean I've never seen a car that doesn't come with floor mats.

My carpet floor mats are in my trunk. My CA threw in a set of BMW all weather mats for me, well fronts only...didn't have rear ones in stock. Not sure I will ever have anyone sit behind me. Those mats are really small anyway.

The front and rears can be had for around $180 IIRC. The trunk liner is around $100.

Honestly not my favorite rubber floor mat. The aren't really shaped to contain and hold liquids or small bits of salt or gravel. We recently had a lot of snow and salt to deal with and the big salt granules were frequently ending up on the carpet instead of trapped within the mat.

This is coming from having used VW monster mats and that have more deep grooves to trap and contain things, or Weathertech which have high sides to contain things you don't want on your upholstery.

Weather Tech have truck liners cut to size yet for the new G42 model?? I kind of doubt it since such a new model that is low volume

I had the all weather black floor mats with my build but just today it disappeared from my added options after already being in transit. I know that the mats and the wheel locks are added after arriving to the destination port, at least that's what the Genius told me previously. Reached out to my CA to see what that's about.

Dumb question but keep seeing CA. What does that stand for?
