Exhaust Routing

Figured I’d throw this on here since I had the car on the lift yesterday. I got photos of the exhaust from the cat back for all wondering

Oh, sweet. So it goes straight from the downpipe, to the split, then the mufflers!

No resonator in the middle, eh? I guess that's why it sounds so good from factory

Are you planning on changing something up under there?

I’m planning on cat back as soon as Dinah or someone makes one. I may see the cost and process for a custom.

With there being no res in the MP, I’m thinking a single piped mp to a center split should work, there is a poss of even with a customer, utilizing the stock flap for comfort and sport calving

It is based on the 3 series, looks like it will. I may have to call them see if they can test fit. Or I can be the teat bunny. Same with the downpipe!

The people from AWE told me that
Apparently there is a significant size difference between the 3 series and 2 series so the exhaust wouldn't fit perfectly. However, the exhaust routing of the Supra looks similar.

Supra exhaust won't work. Muffler mounts on opposite side.

So I guess we just have to wait for a company to make one for the G42?

Probably not.
Last 2 Series was F platform (F22).
This generation is G platform (G42).
Different frame, dimensions, etc.
