Cargo capacity to carry tires

Is there enough space between the backrow and the trunk to fit all 4 tires?

I plan to swap my tires right after delivery and was curious if I could carry the stock tires in the car with me.

I switched to my new winter wheels right after delivery and I couldn't fit the summer wheels in the trunk (this used to work on my F22). Had to load them in our 2nd car for transport.

Even with the back seats down, there was not enough room to slide the tires through?

Nope. Didn't work for me. I was able to do this on my old F22 though

I got two of the tires in the back seats and two in the back. Hopefully that helps

Yeah. There might be some way to Tetris them in there if you really try, I was just trying to get out of the dealership at that point. But on the old F22 model it was fairly easy to fit all 4 in with the rear seats folded down.

That is definitely interesting to know especially considering the G42 is supposedly a "bigger" car.

The car is bigger in some ways but the cargo area is about the same and the wheels themselves are bigger - I had 18” 225 square setup on my F22 versus the 19” 225/255 staggered on my new car
