This year's list of cars/manufacturers is one of the shortest I've seen... so will likely pass.

I was able to attend one of the media days. It's a much smaller show but I just wanted to get out of house since covid kept the show away last year. It was just ok. Lots of new electric cars... BMW had the new i4 and iX. They also had a M5CS there. It's always fun to check out what's new.

I honestly didn't know it was still a thing until I saw a commercial on Hulu the other day.

I used to go every year. I stopped, though, since it had gotten smaller and smaller to the point where the more interesting brands were either not present at all or wouldn't bring the good stuff.

It's a shame since I used to look forward to it.

I’m gonna go this coming Friday. It’s nice to see BMW back. They had sit out at least the last two years if I remember correctly.

If you ever get the chance, go to the NY show at the Javits center. I imagine Chicago is fairly comparable but it’s New York!

They had a racket one year. The paid parking lot across the street would target hot cars. When the owners came out they claimed to have lost their keys. They would pay for a cab (pre Uber) ride home to get their second key. They attendants had your home address from something left in the glovebox or console and they would come steal your whip in the middle of the night.

Anyone know if they're coming to Toronto this year after Chicago? If not, I'll drive to chicago.

I was there yesterday - considerably better than 2021. Still miles behind of what 2020 was, obviously, but I think it was a good sign of things to come!
