Brake line holder - dumb question for today

Hey guys, it's been so long since I took this all apart, I need a sanity check on my install of the brake line holders. Do I have this right? Brake lines are super taught at wheel lock.

First photo is left, second photo is right.

According to this, left front, the clip looks just like yours.

Is the strut fully seated in the steering knuckle? Have you tried measuring the seated height of the mounting point to the knuckle on the old and new struts?

Thanks. Yeah the left one looks good. Video didn't show right side, and that's the one that doesn't seem right - it's rubbing on the sensor box cover.

On the left side, I loosened the bolt and pushed it down further - seems ok now. There is an awful lot of play in how those things can be positioned.

Yes, I searched some more and to me it looks like the problem is with the mounting point on your new struts. It could be better designed.

Loosening the nut and pushing the clip down should help some. In your 2nd picture, the clip is tiled up. The clip's inboard flat at the mounting point should at least be straight up/down it looks like.

Yep, that's it. This video showed it clearly - thanks!

hi

I loosened the bolt on the left side and moved it down further - everything seems to be working now. There's a lot of flexibility in how those objects may be placed. villa for sale in turkey
