Is your iDrive Rotary Controller touch enabled?
I have Premier Pro and does not have the touch feature, but I had the impression that the demo car I drove had it.

Mine is touch enabled (M Sport).

BMW did supply some cars without touch, due to the chip shortage. The iX3 / X3 wasn't mentioned though and apparently it was only the German market. Not sure if that expanded to UK cars at some point.

I'm not sure if touch can be disabled or not. Might be worth checking if you haven't already.

User error: the options were disabled probably from the dealer… it does work.
