M240i quality check since December.

Has anyone else car been in quality check for this long? I ordered the car in November. I hate waiting this long.

This seems excessive even by 'stuck in qc' standards. Have they provided any info besides 'part shortages'? I'm picturing a mountain of cars missing various modules etc and a nightmare sorting through which cars need what..
I ordered early December and got very lucky to avoid any major production delays, waiting on delivery to dealer now. Fingers crossed for you!

I was in QC for about 2 weeks... and once auto was shipped to USA port, RAM chip was installed in about 10 days & now in transit to dealer

I still would like to know the real story behind your car. I feel like after this long of a wait, you deserve a full accounting for everything that was damaged and replaced at the VPC.

Edit: Nevermind. I was thinking of LightningSVT in Michigan that has been in VPC purgatory hell since November.

Just got an update now it's in final assembly finally 😂😂

Just got the update that mine has entered final assembly. It was in QC since week 2 of Jan.

My SA sent me a text to let me know. However, he is under the impression it is being assembled in Germany haha.

What is a RAM chip?

Receiver Audio Module. It’s a control module; not a chip.

order the car at 12/11/21 , and got production number at 12/27/21.. and until now , it still shows scheduled for production………

Similar story here. QC since jan 5 and CA thinks car is in Germany lol

Very likely man. Feels like our cars and in the same batch. Did you get to get the top speed increased btw?

Sadly i did not. They did however tell me i could take it to a tuner to get it changed. But i may need to do that the same day i take delivery. lol

Why has to be same day? Lol. If we do it ourselves wouldn't it destroy the warranty?
