Anti trap warning every 15 seconds.

My passenger side rear window regulator broke a few months ago. I disconnected the motor and got the window in the up position. I haven't had any anti trap warning until yesterday. I accidentally hit the switch for that window. Now the anti trap warning keeps coming on. It is digging every 15 seconds. Is there a work around to get rid of this warning. I'm not worried about putting a regulator in right now since its winter. The CC-ID is 259. The car is a 07 328i.

Thank you

Try disconnecting the battery for about 10 minutes - might soft reset the fault counter.

Definitely had to google what that warning was, I see alot of videos on YouTube claiming to show how to fix this issue. None of those working for you?

I was able to find a regulator locally and got it. I did the 3 seconds down and 3 seconds up and the error cleared.

Thanks for the help.
