E90 LCi tailight issue

Heya,

Got this issue with the passenger tailight, it’s off to a point where I open the boot, then it turns on. The moment I actuate the electric button on the boot it starts to lit. Any opinions? FRM? Bad holder?

I would focus on the wiring between the body and trunk lid. It’s covered in a rubber boot/conduit. Based on your description I can almost guarantee your issue is with broken wires.

It’s relatively common and I’ve had this happen myself. Pulling the rubber back to repair is kind of cumbersome, but it’s overall an easy fix.

I’ve checked the harness before posting, no obvious damage, so basically the moment I actuate the boot button, then it starts to lit. Not when I’m opening as you could have tell a wire is squeezed
