G42 fuel consumption. (MPG)
I just past the 800 mile mark on by M240. I've been closely tracking fuel consumption as this is my daily driver. I live in VA so it's hard to find 91 octane so I stay with the more expensive 93. All this said, I'm noticing a large difference from the computer's estimate (32.1 avg) and the actual math of miles driven over gallons put in the tank (about 28.2 avg). This has been tracking for each full tank. Is this normal/common? Thoughts?

Depending on how you drive, and what conditions you drive in, I'd say yes. My week old M340 averaged about 28.6 on its first tank, but I do 60/40 highway driving. My 340i with the older B58 averaged between 26.5-28 depending on weather conditions and that car was a manual even.
