E9x Convertable Radio/CD Aircon config

Hi all,

Please can anyone assist about the configuration of the CD Radio / Aircon configuration on the Convertable E92/3 ?

Some models 2010 to 2013 seem to have the CD fitted above the Aircon control assembly and others have the Aircon controls fitted above the CD….

Is there a rule here? I.e later models have the Aircon above? Or is it something to do with the trim level / Radio option / idrive perhaps ? I.

Is it the Sport Plus Edition have the Aircon controls fitted above the CD because they have a higher equipment level option? .. the SE model having lower level radio cd system?

Any clarification here would be gratefully received

So if idrive present, the Aircon assembly is above the cd?
