Order Change Question

My order is scheduled for production. The date is 4/4 for production to start. Can I still make a change now? From what I read, you can make a change up til production actually starts. Just looking for some clarification. I am going back and forth on color. Order PB but TNM is calling me.

As long as order status is in 112 and not in 150 you can make changes.

You might want to decide sooner than later since your original production date is getting closer and the production schedules can move back and forth.

How did you get the actually date? When I called Genius they would only tell me week 10 but no actual date.

I emailed the BMW Genius and they provided me with the build date and week 14. They probably just provided the first day of week 14.

Once you have a VIN it is too late. I wanted to make changes too but couldn't.

TNM is just so unique. Not every car can pull off purple but you see blue on 15k Japanese cars everyday.

I changed my order, but I am keeping the blue. Purple tempted me before (392 Challenger) but I landed up with black. Personally, only the Challenger and Charger can pull off purple. The TN does look good on the 240i, but in the end, I felt like I couldn't live with it long term.

Good rationale. I was going to mention those two Dodge muscle cars too. There are some fun colors for those cars, but when I got a Challenger Scat Pack, I went with silver. I have moved on since then and look forward to the M240i in PB. I always wanted a BMW in blue for along time.
