Black kidney grill with shutters

I am looking to replace the silver grills I currently have on thr car with black ones.
My grills currently have shutters.... can I go to a grill without shutters? If not, where can i purchase with hutters?

Grills and shutters are separate pieces. If you check out the assembly line video on YouTube at the end you'll see them attach the grill with the shutters already in place. And the grill is very easy to remove and install, BTW. Retaining tabs are visible once you pop the hood. Undo the tabs you can see and grill will pop off. And to install new grill just push into place.

If your shutters have silver accents (M50) and you're looking to eliminate that silver as well, I'd just wrap the shutters in vinyl wrap. On our 40i I wrapped the grill slats in vinyl - it was easy to do and they stayed in perfect shape for 2.5 years and around 20k miles until we turned the car in. Wrapping the shutters should be easier than the more complex shapes of the grill slats I did.

No link but a quick eBay search will turn up plenty of inexpensive results in both black and CF. That's where I ordered my black gloss replacement. Prices seem to range from $100-$299. Pics when you're done?

I think both will be an improvement over the chrome. You can't lose either way.
