would we know if a convertible 2 series is coming in 2023

basically the title...

as i sit here waiting for my car.. one of the items that could make me cancel my order... would be if there was a 2023 M240i/M2 convertible... even if it had idrive 8, i'd still be interested in it as ragtop...

my gut says that there'd be rumors or leaked shots of a convertible if one was coming anytime soon
