Great review from an AMG fanboy. He makes a good point about the buttons and I am holding out hope that the 2023 G80's don't get iDrive 8. Today marks the day that the ship has sailed for me to get a 2022 with Individual color.

The thumbnail shot makes me want skyscraper for my xdrive if I am dead set on a 2022...

But I've always wanted a custom color - couldn't stomach the Porsche PTS cost but Individual is fair. Tough call.

Yeah, at this point there is no hope left for this i guess. M3 will get the LCI ID8 in summer starting in 07/22.
Even if not, the Touring will launch with ID8 and is set for November. So it is MY2023 at the very latest, where BMW will switch the M3 to ID8.

For once it will be good to miss the LCI, the current models for the first time have full Led rear light. That was always the card BMW played with previous gen cars. My take on it is if you've got laser lights and like the current iDrive with actual button then any upgrades coming are downgrades (for me at least)
