Android auto HU issues
I have installed a new screen in my CIC head unit
It works fine and love it, BUT the screen is way too reflective during daylight and I can hardly see the screen In lower light and dark etc it's perfect. I have tried a screen covering to stop the flare but that made the screen almost white to see and was no better Does anyone have any recommendations on what is best for these screens to make them useable? I want to keep this as it's one of the only ones that offers wireless android auto but need this screen issue sorted if I can |

For my tablet install i bought a ANTI-GLARE / MATTE Screen Protector (that`s how it was worded on ebay) for my particular tablet. It works as advertised.
Not knowing what you bought, I hope this helps. Also, is your unit able to auto adjust brightness? |

thanks, there were NO instructions with this, as it was an ALIEXPRESS purchase. the settings only have a manual brightness which i have put right up and it is still not good enough to see.
it is even worse, if I put my headlights on, during the day, due to low vis conditions, the screen is invisible. I am going to remove this unit as it simply is not usable with this screen, however I have the camera installed etc, and love the functionality of it, so would like to fit a different one so does anyone have any good recommendations, of a screen to fit my E90, which you can actually use during the daytime? and if anyone wants to buy a used ALIEXPRESS version, I have one! THIS IS THE ITEM I like the fact, it has WIRELESS ANDRIOD AUTO and not many do |

I noticed today while out in the sun and driving, as my old screen was 6.5 the new screen has the OEM CIC on the left and the right side is filled by the android HU. The left side original is dim but the right side where the android info is, is fine and readable. So it seems an issue only where the original CIC feed is displayed
