G80 Steering Wheel Noise

Hi,

Wondering if anyone has same problem as me. I have been trying to figure out this rattle coming from the steering wheel.

Car is 2022 m3c. At slow speed going over uneven pavement or turning into a driveway, I would hear this rattle coming from the steering wheel. Very faint rattle like some plastic pieces are loose. It sounded like it could be behind the airbags or from the steering rack itself. No suspension mod 100% stock. If yall experienced this please share the fix. Thanks.

I have the same issue. It's the airbag cover. Looking for a fix too.

not sure if it is same issue here, i hear rubber scrached each other from steel wheel. brought it back to dealer ship, told me that need to consult with BMW as they have not seen it before. Now it got replacement of the steering column. as per staff in dealership, they found internal fault within column.

however when i take the car back, the bloody noise is still there but just not as loud as before......

When I touch/press the airbag cover, the rattle disappears.
