Anyone bought an ebay/cheaper M Performance "style" spoiler?

I like the look of the OEM MPerf spoiler, tried to have it port installed but the system doesn't let you without also getting the front lip, and I kid you not, because it says the car would be unbalanced aero-wise without both.

That being said, If I have to buy the OEM one, I will, but if I can save some money, why not.

I was looking at this Ikon spoiler:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/37400852838...QAAOSwHHNiTkhn

Has anyone tried this or another M Perf style spoiler from eBay or elsewhere and been happy with it?

You are going to receive many different options when it comes to your question - from my experience, you buy once - you cry once. Save yourself the frustrations and purchase a genuine M Performance product or any dry carbon products from a reputable vendor. eBay is a gamble especially when purchasing cheap aftermarket components

Generally I'd agree, but many of the "reputable" vendors are just reselling stuff that is coming from the same factories. I don't mind spending the cash on the OEM one if need be, but I have had several eBay spoilers actually fit quite well.

The vendor listed in the link is Ikon, and from what I have seen and heard is not too shabby. It's definitely a tough call and I wish you luck with your final decision!

I'll just buy it, fit it dry, and worst case if it doesn't fit I'll return it and get the OEM one I suppose.

Agreed - they do have a 30day return policy but you will have to contact them direct in order to have the restocking fee waived

Bought this one:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/313608122733

Looks great and fitment was pretty much perfect! It definitely changed the whole look of the rear. We were worried it would look too big, but it ended up being the right look for the car as the oem one just wasn't cutting it. I'm having trouble posting pictures, but dm me if you want!
