This is what happens when you ignore the little voice...

...in your head that says "wait a week to put on your summer tires".

Note: The screw was just barely stuck in the rubber...the tire is fine. If I'd driven another two feet, it would probably have gone all the way in.

Note 2: It hasn't snowed in April in the Portland Metro in the 80+ years they've been keeping track of snow levels. It's already melting, and I work from home.

Yep...and I've only put about 40 miles on these tires.

Pixel 6 Pro. Finally let go of my ancient iPhone XS last week. The blurry screw picture is the first bad picture I've taken with it...the blur equaled my annoyance in the moment.
