Remus Axle Back Exhaust (Race Option) w/ Carbon Tips (Midpipe Sold)
Hey what's going on everyone. I recently sold my 2020 M2C, it was an unfortunate decision but given todays market, I figured it's in my best interest to let it go, and pursue a family friendly vehicle. Despite being a great car, I always wanted it to sound more exciting. After some research, comparing multiple brands, combining experiences with Remus on my previous vehicle, I purchased the Remus Racing Axle Back + AA Midpipe combo. I really enjoyed the time while it's on my M2C, it's deep, loud, without losing the ability to close the valves. It is especially loud during cold start though… I'm pretty sure my next door neighbor hated me when I had the car. Thanks to COVID, this exhaust set has been on my M2C for about 8000 miles. It's never driven in a salt/corrosion heavy environment (one of the perks living in SoCal). However as you guys can see, some wear and tear happens when it's exposed under your car. I'm asking for $3700 OBO. The good folks over at XPH is selling it new at a very competitive price at $4230. So about $500 in savings if you want to save some cash for other mods. Here are the photos: View post on imgur.com Here are some sound clips (credit to Autotalent): I'm located in SoCal, zip code 91770. Feel free to ask me questions if you're interested in purchasing this set. Update: Midpipe sold. Only the axle back now. Asking for $3100, willing to work together to ship. |

Now that you've got me interested in this setup, how did it sound in driver's seat? Any drone? Too loud? Not loud enough? ASD active or disabled?

If you can handle the first 60 seconds of the cold start, the rest is magic. Have the same setup. The sounds during shifting i have not heard on any other setup.

I didn't notice any drone, I'd say I'm average in terms of sound tolerance. Just like the other member mentioned, the cold start is *really* loud. You would have trouble listening to passenger speak. On a scale of 0-10, I'd say stock comfort mode is about a 1.5, comfort mode with this setup is 3, sport I'd say a 7.5 if you rev it, and 10 if we are talking about that loud cold start. I didn't turn ASD off, I'm unsure how much of a difference it would make.
