BMW M240i Matte Badging
Hi
I was wondering where I can find the same OEM matte badging for the fenders on the BMW M240i that IND Distribution sells for the rear badging. IND Distribution sells the rear badge in matte but doesn't seem to sell the side fender badges in matte, only gloss. Where can I get the side fender badges in matte? I don't want to make only my rear badging matte and keep my fender M badges gloss, that just looks goofy IMO. https://ind-distribution.com/product...888e7d4d&_ss=r |

Ok so I realized something. The matte rear is for the F chassis M240, not the G chassis M240
The F240 never came with side badging, thus matte only exists for the rear. The G240 was released with only gloss, and gloss being for the rear and on the sides. I have an idea tho You can buy a Krylon Matte Paint finish at Lowes. Just search up Krylon Matte Finish and you will see what I'm talking about. I have a set of gloss badging coming in soon, as I shipped it to my uncle in the US and he is a truck driver and can drop it off at my place in Ontario, CA. I'm wondering if I take the Krylon Matte Finish and put it on the gloss badge, I would be able to get the same effect, no? My only worry is that it may possibly fade? idk tbh. EDIT: I think the only other way to get the matte finish OEM done is to buy three sets of the rear matte M240 badge, but that's expensive asf @ 100+ USD a badge |
