Touch up paint for frozen colors.

Curious what everyone is using for their touch up paint for their frozen colors. After 400 miles and a second car wash. I already have some marks - I'm going to stop driving it until I get my front ppf. In the mean time I would like to touch up some spots. Not sure if these paints are super soft. A little surprise how many little chips I have already.

I believe you have FDG. I used this for a minor chip and was happy with the match. Never going to be perfect but the result was better with touch up.

I don't know, but this year our (NY) roads are just terrible. Ask your paint shop to mix you a small sample of BMW code P6N. You can also ask your PPF installer if they're able to get some while doing the work. I also recommend you get some mud flaps, at least for the front wheels.

Also, I recommend windshield film protector. My windshield has a lot of nicks.

I agree. However, I think it happened with a truck towing something in my particular instances. I saw stones bouncing. I slow down but I think by then a lot of the stones hit a lot of the passenger side of my car. I have like 5 chips all on that side.

I'll definitely considering getting the windshield wrap. If this wasn't a frozen a paint. I wouldn't even care lol.

Thank you. That's what I saw when I did some goggling. I just wanted to confirm. No need to be perfect, anything better than a huge ass white dot though lol.

I'm at 1300 miles and have a quite a few on the rear arches and the front doors.
As you mentioned they are white and stand out on FDG a lot.
I'll also try the touch up linked in this post but plan on front mudguards

I totally get it. The day I bought my last car (2020 STI) I got a rock chip on the front bumper on my way home from the dealer
