Hi all,

Apologies in advance for what I would have thought to be a relatively easy search, however not coming up with an answer. I would think my current downpipe on my 2018 340i will be a direct bolt on for the new B58 but wanted to see if anyone has experience or input. Waiting for 2023 allocation to order the new G42 but I'm a planner. Will the old downpipe fit the new B58? While were on the topic what about my after market charge pipe?

PS. I don't think I've been on forums since my DSM days, this is giving me nostalgia with the layout haha

An f series 340 downpipe will not fit on a g series. There are minor differences.

Not sure on the charge pipe. That is a pointless upgrade anyways

It depends on the brand, some brand downpipes will fit both, others do not, and offer specific F and G chassis downpipes.

I see, I had no idea there were subtle differences. I have VRSF for both downpipe and chargepipe (I get it was pointless, I came from N54's and N55's blowing up plastic charge pipes).

Any experience with VRSF f series fitting G42?

We don't offer the brand so I'm not too sure, i recommend you check with them.

I did confirm with VRSF that F series downpipe will not work on G42, for anyone curious.
