I checked the tyre pressures on my wheels today and so took off the aero wheel covers to get easy access.

I noticed that most of the edge rim on all of the wheels is scratched fairly badly - it looks like brake dust has built up and has worn away the paint given slight movement in the cover.

I haven’t taken the wheel covers off for a few months (mainly because i was noticing scratches developing from where the metal clasps hold on to the wheel), and there is a fair bit of dust underneath.

Has anyone else got this issue? If so, have they mentioned it to BMW?
