Who here smokes?

I've been off the cigs for about 2 years now... But with school and everything, (did I mention that 90% of New Yorkers smoke) I can't say that I haven't thought about it.... I've been smoking cigars for about 6 months or so and have grown quite found of them, however, I get a pack of mini cigarellos every now and then. They come in a pack of 20 but are about $20, I tend to smoke these when I get stressed or even when taking a break and I feel like I am trying to substitute them for cigarettes Should I jus..t go back to smoking cigarettes?

I really enjoy a cigar, I usually get medium to mild ones.. Ashtons and AVO's are my favorite.. Who smokes cigarettes for the taste? I thought it was just for the nicotine rush.

I work with some folks that smoke. Luckily, they aren't allowed to smoke inside, so every hour or so they go outside to suck on their cancer sticks. When they come inside the smoke odor on their clothes makes it smell inside just as bad as if they'd been smoking right in the room.

What a nasty nasty habit. I'm so glad it's prohibited inside any public building in NJ, PA, and NYC.

Now, when I go on business trips, I'm not used to the smell of people smoking inside so it's annoying even when it's isolated to the smoking section of a bar or restaurant on the other side of the building.

Its definately understandable for a non-smoker to hate the smell of cigarette smoke, matter of fact, I tend to distance myself from my friends when they smoke.. Even though I used to smoke, the smell of it annoys me.

The only thing I miss about it is the way you feel so relaxed after smoking.. This is probably from the nicotine. I used to go through a pack in 2 days, smoke break every 20-30 minutes or so depending on how slow work was.. It didn't really help that all my co-workers smoked also lol... I think, that all this stress is just getting to me... Beer and the occasional cigars arent helping much, mainly because those are 'luxuries', not habits...

Honestly, it really wasn't that hard.. Maybe it was because I had a motivation for quitting.. All I remember is that the second week was the hardest and at that, wasn't too bad.. But I see that some of my friend are having a very difficult time breaking the habit. The way I kinda see it is that, I've done it once before, shouldn't I be able to do it again? And if I did start smoking again... Would I be able to control it so it wouldn't get out of hand?

How long are the work days in NYC?
Or, how big are the packs?

This was back in WA, and the work hours were form about 12-7, not that long, but the slow business made it seem longer lol... I don't know if you know, but almost everybody in Korea smokes, just like NYC, lol.. The cigs were a pack of 20 like usual, I smoked Marb Reds and Kool Milds, and occasionally dunhills
