Absolutely. I only used one but it worked perfectly. Link to the thread above.

Straight up, and quickly. So grab and pull up hard and fast. Not a slow pull

Just have to send it. No hesitation. Maybe just try one glue stick centered?

I used the sticky gunk that came with the new button. I kneaded it into a ball and spread it out over the entire surface of the old button. Then I used the round, plastic case the new button came in, and pressed it into the sticky material firmly and pulled up quickly. It worked. I think the trick may be having the force evenly distributed over the button.

I couldn't get mine out with the glue sticks either. I ended up picking up some duct compound and was finally able to get it out with that. It's really sticky stuff. Wear gloves.
One of the clips on the OEM button did break, though. |

No damage within the module itself in the car though right?

Still impossible, a glue stick adhesive is strong like i can grap button and pull out by my hand, but glue stick brokken before button came out. I "feel" like pull straight up is a wrong way, it can't be that strong

I used 7 of the small glue sticks. It covered the whole button. I think pulling on the edges spread it a little to pull out. 3 in the middle did not work for me.

Did any of you guys have an issue where the aftermarket button was not perfectly centered? I installed mine and the gap was larger on one side and it drove me crazy so I went back to stock. I had this issue with 2 buttons I've tried.
The stock button fits perfect, but its boring |

Ended up buying this one (my 3rd button) and it fits and looks perfect.
Same exact print spacing and font as OEM. It just does not light up the same as the rest of the controls, which I'm ok with. Lanyun replacement for bmw engine... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09P1J1HGY...p_mob_ap_share |
