N55 Oil Thermostat Location
Hey guys, I have a 2011 e90 335i with the n55 motor. I am interesting in running a aftermarket oil cooler setup as my car did not come with the factory oil cooler. I plan to swap my oil filter housing with one that is compatible with oil coolers. My question is.. is the oil thermostat in the same location regardless of if my car has the oil filter housing that is compatible with oil coolers? I'm hoping that swapping to the oil filter housing that has ports for oil filter lines, just not sure if these parts are interchangeable. If anyone has Info on this please let me know… thanks in advance!
