Overall pretty good work. Front end is very 2D in this rendering and the side skirts are completely inaccurate though.

If that is accurate to what it looks like then the 240i looks better IMO

Maybe so, but one cannot get a G42 M240 with a manual and to some that makes all the difference in the world.

I don't like the square front look. Just my opinion.

What I do like is the grill is not obnoxious.

I don't love the M240i, but I don't hate it either. I was happy they didn't bastardize it with huge grilles, but I didn't like the big triangle things going on with the front. I noticed you picked out a picture where they are all black with shadow trim which makes them look slightly more tolerable. I also don't like the single lens of the headlights which the G87 will also get, but at least it doesn't have that pinch near the grilles which should make it look a bit better. I also don't' care much for the rear including the exhaust tips. Thankfully the G87 will get quad round tips. From what I've seen the G87 looks way better than the M240i, but this of course is all subjective.

I don't think renders are necessary at this point. We know what the car looks like with a bit of imagination. Or if someone with some talent in photoshop wants to paint one of the press pictures, that's all we'd need.

Yeah, I'm the same, in those pics I posted I think it looks amazing but they are very cherry-picked. Sometimes I think it looks a bit out of proportion depending on the pic.

I have no doubt the M2 will look superior in every way and the driving dynamics will be another level.

I agree on the headlights aswell, why couldn't they use the ones on the M3/4?

Yeap! I think renderings and photos will have a tough time showing the depth of parts.

M240i will look very meh when the M2 arrives - like the previous generation.
