Paddle shifter upgrade worth it on LCI?

I was about to purchase the Nelson racing paddle shifters for my 335is. I was wondering if anyone tried them compared to stock and if they are worth the price? Or for LCI/M3 cars it's not worth it? They're not that cheap so it's why I'm second guessing.
