It has now happened 3 times. 3 separate females walked up to me and commented that my car is beautiful. All 3 of them were 70-80+ years old though. BUT, I've never had female attention about any of my other cars before! My gf is oddly OK with the female attention I'm getting with my car.

I take it your girlfriend is also not in the 70-80+ year old bracket, otherwise it might be a different story

Funny story that relates…

I have older friends that are married. He is 79 and she is 77. She is a very friendly, talkative, generous, spry, trim 77-year-old. I was taking them out to lunch. It was Sunday and I cut through an office park on the way to the restaurant. The office park has a mile stretch of straights and some nice curves.

Being Sunday, the park was empty. She sat in the backseat. I asked if she was comfortable and she replied absolutely. When I turned into the park, I stomped on the gas. Of course the M240i took off like a rocket. At that point all I heard from the backseat was a loud… “Wow! This is fun! Wow! That was fun!”

If the M240i can put a smile on the face of a 77-year-old woman, well…case closed.

Bob, leave the old ladies alone. I sure hope when I get mine I dont attract the old ladies. I don't need that attention, plus I live in SFL ( retirement state)....

Guy at drive through register said my car was beautiful and then a homeless man I gave a water to said the interior was nice.

haha thats awesome. I feel like the only people who have complimented my M340i have been older dudes haha

I never use my rear doors or back seats though, so maybe the M240i/M440i might be a better fit for me

That was a hoot. But just to be clear…

1. My female “twenty-something” next-door neighbor commented: that car looks fast and that she liked the color and especially the interior.

2. Another female friend who is in her early fifties and lives in CA and who is a former BMW owner and who now drives a Jaguar convertible saw pictures I sent her and loves the look and interior and definitely wants a ride when she gets back to my area.

3. I also just had a 15-minute conversation with a random guy in the parking lot of Home Depot. He said he had an M340i and asked how I liked the M240i. He also said the car really looked good.

So, the point is that the car does get some attention across “all ages” and from “both sexes”. Of course, attention is definitely “not” why I bought the car.

Just got back from a little Sunday morning drive and after 2-months the M240i still impresses!

So I have street parked my car a couple times... I'm in LA, which is a place people like to camp by the curbs... So when I come out of the car more often than not a homeless guy and sometimes his buddies would give me the biggest compliment. So......
