at the 3:19 mark in the below video they talk about M Performance parts. Is this something you can order when ordering the car so that they can be installed while the car is being built or do they have to be purchased separately and be installed after delivery?

They are ushally installed by the dealer assembley lines are complex enough.

If they're ordered with the car, they're installed at port and not at the dealer.
